Process; It is a set of operations that transform an input that enters the system with a dictionary definition, passes it through the system, and produces different values that can be measured concretely while doing this operation. It is also referred to as the process approach. Processes are defined by value-added efforts. The process can be within a function or between functions. For businesses; In industrial process applications, processes are the sum of people, equipment, raw materials, processing methods and other elements in contact. In other words, processes are what activities a business carries out for its current and potential customers and what it pays attention to. Processes are all stages of a production or sales mechanism. Processes are valid for one or more functions in enterprises. There may also be sub-processes within the process. Processes include activities that can be defined, measured, repeated, and controlled.
There are equipments to be used while doing all these. In many sectors, it is necessary to use the right systems in order to get the outputs correctly and to increase the efficiency.

In this module we will focus on industrial processes and look at how interconnected production equipment ensures efficient and reliable operation.
I would like to give examples from some sectors in Industrial Process applications; Horizontal end-suction pumps, horizontal split casing pumps, horizontal multistage pumps, vertical multistage pumps, submersible sewage pumps, drainage pumps or submersible pumps with shear blades are used in the iron and steel industry.
The same pumps as above can be used in the marine industry. In addition to these, inline type pumps and package type booster sets can be used. The important point here is that sea water is salty due to its structure. Stainless steel or bronze products should be used in a structure suitable for this.
There are pumps suitable for sectors such as the energy sector, the geothermal sector, the food sector, mining, chemical processes and oil. It is very important to choose the right products for the correct application according to the chemical and physical properties of the product to be used.
